Print out of Final Bill of Entry & Uploading of Documents in E-sSanchit-A Facilitation Measures During breakout of COVID-19

Subject: Print out of Final Bill of Entry & Uploading of Documents in E-sSanchit-A Facilitation Measures During breakout of COVID-19

 

Dear Member,

The Council would like to inform you that the Air Cargo Complex (Sahar) has issued Public Notice No.57/2020 dated 4th April, 2020 regarding print out of final Bill of Entry & uploading of Documents in E-sanchit, as facilitation measure during breakout of COVID-19.

As per the current practice, the Importers or Custom Brokers have to queue up before the XEAM Service Centre located at Import Shed to collect the print out of the Out of Charged Bills of Entry. Further, they also have to approach the XEAM Service Centre for getting the documents uploaded in E-Sanchit to be linked with Bills of Entry.

To minimize the physical human contact during the lockdown period, the matter was discussed with XEAM Service Centre and it has been decided that the members of Trade shall make a request, either by icegate email or by whatsapp (preferred mode by XEAM) to the staff of XEAM Service Centre located both at import Shed nad NCH.

Printing of Bills of Entry and uploading of Document in E-Sanchit:

Following details are required -

Bills of Entry (BE) Number, Date of Bills of Entry after grant of OOC, IRN, DRN, BE Number, BE Date, iEC Code, CHA User ID.

The staff of the XEAM Service Centre will take printouts of First In First Out basis. The importers/ Custom Brokers may collect the same from the Service Centre at their convenience instead of queuing up there.

Members may kindly take a note of the above.
